Liz Cheney only won one county in Wyoming, the richest county, per capita, in the United States.

That county was Teton, home of the Jackson Hole crowd. She won by a margin of 4 to 1. But lost every other county.

Trivia: Teton County only has a population of slightly over 23,000 and the Sec. State reports that Cheney received 5955 votes and Hageman received 1928 votes. Other republican candidates received 223 votes. Democrat candidates as a whole received 419 votes.

Democrat votes are low because they all switched over and voted for Liz, just like she requested.

I agree that a large number of Liz’s votes were crossover democrats which was expected. What surprised me was the number of democrats in this particular county who did not crossover.
