Sobriety cks have been around a long time. Did they always check ID or only if obviously intoxicated
...you are always asked for you licence, registration and proof of insurance here in Ohio...
...don't ask me how I know....
(lead foot)
...howls...
Ohio, the "Fuck Me" state. Toledo here. Never forget that police are our government's useful idiots. They're not your friends when their job description is to enforce unjust laws, secure your arrest and aid in your prosecution.
They also lie to us, banking on our ignorance of the law and our rights.
...I have a couple of popo buddies who would agree with you 100%....
I'm really not trying to be my usual grumpy self because I know we have retired cops here but I also have family with Highway Patrol and Toledo prison that agree.
I will say that I've met some good cops who could have hemmed me up on charges or citations that let me go but that's certainly the exception.
Hope you're doing well, AD.
How would one reasonably expect to NOT show ID when operating a motor vehicle?
...it seems reasonable to me...
