I don't know if you guys remember these styles of movies/stories:
Like, magical elves are real or whatever, and the kids in the story are somehow trying to accomplish something, but because the adults just don't believe what the kids are saying, the conflict of the movie continues. Then, at the end, somehow the adults find out themselves about the magical elves, and then the story can conclude.
To me, it feels like that.
Except instead of G-Rated fun for the whole family, it's literally satanism. And lots of pedophilia. Just pure evil. And 99% of people in my orbit just don't know or care. They think I'm crazy.
I remember explaining to my Dad and another individual for like the 3rd or 4th time, about how a lot of our politicians have sons on the boards of Ukrainian energy companies, and that Russia is NOT losing the war, and that the media are lying using ARMA video game clips.
My Dad said something along the lines of "Whenever I heard stuff like that, I thought it was bullshit. Now I'm not so sure!" (he was sort of joking). I've been telling him this stuff for years now, and he's JUST now starting to come around.
You can't just tell someone the truth. Like OP said, the cognitive dissonance is simply too great.
