How ironic, Gates helps create a digital system the empowers thousands of different news gathering and news aggregating entities, then he tries to buy off a few of the larger heritage venues to "control" the news.

The digital beast he helped create will be the mechanism that will bring him down. They karma symmetry is just too, too rich.

I noticed on the article that NPR (which I used to love to watch) took the lion's share. I used to believe they were neutral. Shake head.

Now, when I watch the news, I just look at them and think of them as Hollywood stars but a lot uglier. If I pretend they were ugly looking Tom Cruise, Angelina, Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver...etc acting out a movie. Then I know for sure we just watch them for entertainment. Everything is scripted and nothing is true.
