Went to make a deposit to First Citizens Bank two days ago. The amount was less than $500. The tell asked for my ID. I got pretty loud and asked what she needed it for. She stated they are now required to document every single cash deposit.

Not deposits, but withdrawals yes. I’ve been taking thousands out here and there trying to debank and the last 2 times the manager came over, inquired in a smarmy fake friendly way what I was using the money for. The first one I played along, “I’m buying something”. LoL. The second time I told her it was to film a rap video.
Yeah withdrawals is normal so they can make sure they aren't giving your money to the wrong person... But deposits... Stupid.
