Help with COVID residual

So after 6 days of high fever n being run over by a train daily (bout like the flu) I've been following zelinsky protocol I'm left with body pain I can deal with but my mouth has become so sore I can't eat, even drinking hurts, anything hot is out of the question. Has anyone else had this and what did you do to help? I know I need nutrients as I hardly ate the past 6 days now I can't.

My son has same thing. He got a script for valtrex to treat cold sores on the roof of his mouth...
