Do you use chapters and verse numbers when referring to Bible verses? Chapter numbers were added by Catholics about 1300 AD. Verses numbers were added by Catholics soon after. If you cite chapter and verse when referring to the Bible, then you are using a Catholic tradition, which by your logic is non-Christian.
