Instead of "debt forgiveness" there should be just ability to bankrupt if they wouldn't get a job related to their studies after reaching some age (or maybe under condition they wouldn't work in such branch later)
That student debts in USA should become the problem of the universities teaching useless shit and lecturers teaching it.
Agree. I argued with Dean of my son's community college. They lied and said all credits earned could be transfered to university towards a specific degree. That degree did not exist.
I'm fairly certain there's already a system in place where if you pay your student loans properly for long enough that they get "forgiven" already, it's just hat the remaining balance is considered by the IRS to be income for that year.
