Well if this happened in 1917 no one would know to check the patent office. And even if they did how many people could he spread the truth to before he was tragically run over by a horse drawn carriage. Was easier to cover up a scandal back then. No wonder Einstein worked at a patent office. Anyone find it weird how a patent clerk ended up being a physicist?
