FTA: he relayed a number of stories of auditors and agents he had dealt with in the past who didn’t have the overall competency

I'd like to think the author is correct, but apparently even in the best of times some didn't know how to do the job, and I have no doubt the primary hiring criteria now will be that of diversity. I expect a bunch of 'Rachel' Levines, Kamala Harrises and Buttigiegs.
