I'm going to be "that guy" for a moment, but it's important and I need to point it out: "supreme" is not capitalized in the Constitution, its an adjective. And they do not make rulings, they form opinions and must rely on the executive branch. (Fed Paper 78) Otherwise we are an oligarchy. And when they do form an opinion, it's only meant between the two parties involved, not treated like a blanket to everyone.
