20 years ago when I worked at a McDonald's the 'burger flipper' moniker didn't even apply, as the griddle had this clamshell thing that ran on a timer. All I had to do was put the burger patties down, sprinkle a little salt and pepper from a shaker, and press one of two buttons depending on what size patty it was. I can only imagine the automation has gotten even more idiotpoof since then.
