This is simply not true. They give quite a lot of vaccines to babies in Japan. The worst being BCG for tuberculosis which leaves clusters of scars permanently on the arm.

However, it is true that Japan has one of the lightest first-year vaccination schedules of any country and also one of the lowest infant mortality rates, and this correlation holds true across the global landscape.
