The formula was Kendamil, a European formula that was basically the cleanest formula you could possibly find. If the way our kid grew was a result of it I'd recommend it to anyone who can't go the traditional route as the kid has had no illness (knock on wood) to speak of while on it and grew great both physically and cognitively during that time. Also, we didn't really give an insane amount of vaccines so that probably played a part
Agreed, our last shipment came right when this started happening and we had already been moving towards meals and milk so we just said screw it and get a refund.
The reason the FDA has a problem with Kendamil isn't because of anything more than it has a "misleading" set of nutritional facts. Basically, the nutrition info on the back of each tin is listed in numbers that they're familiar with and not the FDA's standards. Bare in mind there were some other European formulas that were lacking in the desired Iron content but this wasn't one of them. They were merely recalling and stalling based on labeling issues.
Oh it's absolutely nefarious. Firstly I think it's a scare tactic for prospective mothers that are second guessing the safety of having a child right now (depopulation), Secondly it's to take food away from children (downright satanic), and Thirdly it's to promote their own vested interests:
When Kendamil got it's first recall along with a few other brands, it was uniquely timed with this crap formula called Bobbie that was touting itself as the best U.S. organic formula. There was misleading information on the site like saying "We are proud that Bobbie officially meets all FDA requirements for infant formula" - which is shifty wording considering the FDA does not approve any formula. If they truly wanted to be honest about it, it would have read, "We did everything we're supposed to to not get recalled by the FDA".
This is a touchy subject because much like vaccine requirements at work, this one hit home real quick. We were buying formula by the 6 pack to try and stay ahead of schedule, but when this recall came in we were kind of panicked because there is literally no other option if you're trying to give a kid specific ingredients (outside of making it yourself). The Bobbie formula has a bunch of garbage indredients like safflower oil, nonfat milk, SOYBEAN oil (smh)... whereas the one we were getting, the first ingredient was whole milk. I can't remember offhand which nutrients they were but it was packed with good stuff that helped with gut health, and I think it's why our kid doesn't have any issues with milk now.
tl;dr - FDA tries to push US products by obstructing the outside competition, organic formula means nothing if you don't scrutinize the ingredients, and lets go brandon

First, this is shameful that you can't get your formula.
Second, and I'm guessing here, the CBP/FDA are stopping the shipments because they are a European product? Is that the excuse?

Thanks for the information.
My first reaction is to see conspiracy and nefarious actions in things that involve the government.
