Hydrogen has some of the same problem as batteries, you have to use Other fuel sources to generate the hydrogen, and these methods to generate hydrogen are extremely inefficient. if you had Nuclear sources, it would make hydrogen fuel cells more practical. the other problem with Hydrogen is it destroys everything. it's very difficult to work with and it embrittles metals, Fuel cells themselves do not have a long life span, thou that is increasing.
