Why would Zelinsky force the Military into that bloodbath? We do know because he’s a psychopath. Russia rules the skies and they were sitting ducks on open water.
Because these people drink their own Kool-Aid. They tell the world that the Russians are incompetent soldiers, that they're weak, demoralized, and don't want to fight. They're easy to roll over. Just look at the (fabricated) casualty numbers! Ukraine's "punching above its weight."
Obviously, the Russian army is far more capable than that. They were fighting with restraint early on since Putin was trying to protect ethnically Russian civilians. He still is, but he's fired a lot of generals who had given bad advice, and we also know many of the civilians are smart enough to have gotten well away from the fighting. There's much less risk of civilian casualties, so Putin can use its artillery and tank advantage. So, now we see the Russians destroying any military vehicle that moves, picking off reinforcements, and supplies coming in from the US and NATO, and fighting much more capably. Meanwhile, Russia's consolidating its gains, taking care of the civilians with high priority to prevent insurgency and position himself to annex the territory.
But Zelensky, and more importantly, the politicians funding him still believe the lies, so he's now getting billions to send his country's men to the slaughter.
That train was another level. 😳. And the West reported it a Russian train moving their troops being taken out by Ukraine. When you see soldiers, one of the best ways to recognise what side is that Russia always have a face covering. Their equipment is impressive including sabres. Their uniform will carry the St George colours - The colours are said to symbolise fire and gunpowder of war, the death and resurrection of Saint George, or the colours of the original Russian imperial coat of arms (black double-headed eagle on a golden escutcheon). being orange and black.
