  1. This sounds like unnecessary bitching.

  2. If you sign up for a energy savings program, read the fine print.

  3. There is no mention of what temperature the thermostat was locked at, but it was most likely reasonable.

  4. I don't agree with tyrannical electric companies being able to do this, but the homeowners signed a contract, consenting to be governed in this manner.

  5. If you don't like it, contact the company and opt out of the energy savings plan.
