This is a bad idea.
Plenty of laws need to be intricate and address other facets of society.
Imagine writing a law that limits big pharma advertising. It has to address print, TV, internet, age, stipulations for existing spending, deadlines and more.
Then you have politicians have an easy scapegoat for not passing laws people want. "Sorry folks, one page couldn't fit it all."
No problem.
Effective one year from now, Big Pharma will not advertise their products to the public.
Didn't they do the same with alcohol and cigarettes? Both are legal and neither particularly good for you.
Cool. Infomercials we be the new thing.
Not advertisements. Product placement in your favorite shows. Kids cartoons about the wonders of vaccinations.
