Big Mike is blue, despite trying to ‘fit’ into a ‘pink’ world. Unlike Barry, there is a manufactured background that screams feminine. Why? The pink and blue are gaudy and clashes. Why those colors together ?

His lower half is lumpy and obscured…just like real life—also STILL blue. And he’s trying to look like the belle of the PINK ball from the waist up—but still looks like Sasquatch on a chaise lounge—awkward. The lack of his giant gorilla trapezoids (reduced generously by the artist) and rounding that caveman jaw and forehead helps.
