Well, I don’t like the current monarchy. But I’m sure there was great Kings in history. King David was one. Salomon was another.

God never wanted Kings. His people could see that the unbelieving nations had kings and begged for a king until God have them Saul.

God told them the King would take the best of their sons, daughters, goods and wealth. That having an earthly King like the unbelievers would not be good. They wanted one anyway. Research all the Kings of Israel and Judah, there were very few David's and Solomons. Lots of shitheads
