Steel is so much stronger than aluminum.

Aluminum is used in planes because its lighter.

Steel is used to build strong tall bldgs.

As a mechanic who works on aluminum mail trucks,I can also confirm your observation.

The aluminum panels barely bend before they crack into pieces in an accident.
