https://walmart.com/preciousmetals They are sold by APMEX. Lots of overpriced items, but a select few are priced better than direct from APMEX. Do your homework and beware of sales tax.
Also, many frens may not be aware of this but there are now polymer "banknotes" that contain real gold. see GoldBack.com

I use the Money Metals Exchange monthly subscription to buy silver Eagles. A bit more expensive due to shipping costs, but provides the discipline of steady investment. Also ensures Dollar cost averaging. I also use a local coin shop. I split my prepping budget/savings in half and put one half aside for PM. When I get a bit saved up, I go buy some junk silver.
