So...now we know why Scotland and Ireland were free..they were not given away to pope innocent.as he didn't "own" them.

..Ireland has now joined European Union so back in there now and Scotland desperate to do the same!!!! Not telling the Scottish and Irish people though are they?

I have a question you may be able to answer. I read that the "King" Charles is going to visit northern Ireland. Aren't Northern Ireland and Ireland separate countries? Are they both still under the English Crown or GB laws? Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me.

Idea Davis split in two. Republic of Ireland which covers five sixths of the island and Northern Ireland which is part of United Kingdom.
