It is the elected sheriff's job to protect the citizens fro. The federal government. Arrest any federal officers who violate the citizens rights.

I have strong g opinions on how a sheriff should stop all federal enforcement activities not under his direct control in his county. I worked for such a sheriff.

Espescially good for keeping IRS agents off your porch.
