There’s a saying in legal circles about the ease with which prosecutors can secure indictments in grand jury cases: You can get a grand jury to “indict a ham sandwich.”
That's a way of saying that, given enough political pressure, a prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict someone regardless of the facts, lack of evidence or even despite common sense telling them the person is innocent. A little political pressure (or enough money paid)... and a person can be "indicted" for just about any reason. These days, especially with the Trump derangement syndrome... Trump could be "indicted" for virtually any imaginary crime at all.
