We must never get into the habit of defining what a good citizen or human is
We can absolutely define what a good citizen or human is- or at least, what a bad one is.
Of course we can't define those things too narrowly. We have to leave room for individual uniqueness. That doesn't mean we can't draw lines, we just have to draw the right ones.
And even then, just drawing the lines doesn't provide guidance for people who are actively looking for specific help and suggestions. We can give people room to be good people in their own personal ways while also offering useful advice for people who are specifically asking for it.
"Ways to be a non-conformist" absolutely does not mean "the only ways to be a non-conformist". OP is not at all gatekeeping, it's suggesting, and asking for more suggestions.
