This is playing around in my head this morning so I thought I'd write it out. I don't have the mental capacity like some of you incredible frogs do to break this down as far as I'd like, but I thought I'd present a view that may not be from 40k but at least it's about a 10k or 20k foot view. Might be worth consideration.
We know that the liberal agenda that still has roots in America has spread far and wide. I see it contaminate my country on the daily. I know most of you have seen that, too. It grieves me beyond what words can describe...and I fear that things will deteriorate much, much further.
I'm not dooming. At least, I think I'm not. Just hear me out.
When the red wave takes America, when the storm finally devours all this evil that hides at the uppermost point of all of the nations, I believe my country will devolve dramatically. There is no conservative political leader here strong enough to keep the cord from snapping, so to speak.
I believe we will need to become the protectors for our families again, instead of relying on government and police. Maybe we can move south, but most of us have deep roots where we live--you can't replace blood relations. Those who stay here will need to get very tough very quickly.
Lastly, I don't think this will mean life has to change all that much, not for those of us who still fear God. Much of Canada has been built up on liberal ideals, and when they collapse, it will go with them. But if we stay strong and remember who to trust (your brother and your neighbour,) I think our lives will improve for the better.
Prayers for peace despite all this...🙏
Holding the line with you friend. From Vancouver.
That's a tough place to be. Good on you for staying. A lot of states lose good election candidates because so many move away when they run blue.
I'm a dual US/Canada citizen who grew up in Canada (50+ years old). I could get up and move to Florida but I'm fighting for the beautiful country for my kids and future grand kids. The only way they will win is if all the warriors leave.
Facts. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic. But be that as it may, forewarned is forearmed.
When I was a kid ( I'm in my 50s now) all I knew was Conservatism. I live(d) in the 'Bible belt'. There were Churches EVERYWHERE, at least 5 in every small community. I went to United Baptist, Primitive Baptist, Westleyan, United Church of Canada, Penticost, Churches. Now, most are closed. NOW they are putting LITTER BOXES in the schools for kids who identify as cats! The young girls around here have contests to see who can have sex with the most guys. Drugs, like METH are RAMPENT! And I saw a video today that a local person recorded people in HAZMAT suits dumping chemicals into our river (Miramichi) and lakes with dead fish floating around! It will kill the wildlife that drinks that water. I went fishing with my dad A LOT when I was a kid. LOTS of trout and salmon (some over 6 feet long) now it's almost impossible to find these fish..... and now they're poisoning them and the water supply. I have lost almost all of my family members to Cancer except my dad who has dimentia.
Homeschool.
God is found within and everywhere. I do not need an interpreter.
Build a community with like minded people.
Skill up, Skill up, Skill up.
I agree with you regarding not depending on the police. I've been saying for a while now that the "To Serve and Protect" on the sides of the cars should be changed to "Yellow Tape R Us". Remember, when seconds count, police are minutes away.
It's a bit weird when you look at our dependence on law enforcement from a strictly survivalist standpoint. They're good at investigating crime and even often at maintaining a presence that discourages dirtbags, but those shouldn't be seen as reasons to get complacent. Especially for those of us with kids nearby.
Ontario has some good pockets outside of the cities and large towns.
I have quite a few "kin" in that area.
