My good friend is saying goodbye to this world today. He had a bicycle accident which left him brain dead. They’re harvesting his organs right now, 8 PM mountain time, and his family is saying goodbye to him. He was only 38 Yrs old! I really have nobody to share this with.

Well with my friend they actually did do brain surgery, and there was some signs, and then finally it just dropped out. Who knows what they do anymore, I know we lived in a messed up world. I do not have organ donor on my license. For this very reason!
The love of Christ be with you! 44 Years ago, I was 17 years old, my brother was 20. He was involved in an automobile accident and sustained closed head injury and was in a coma for 9 days. My family lived in the waiting room around the clock during that time praying for a miracle....I remember the moment when my parents were confronted with the news that it was determined that Kenny was brain dead and he was on a ventilator they asked them the difficult question about harvesting his organs, my Dad could not do it. Your friend is still yet to be a hero for so many, God Bless him and his soul, God bless and comfort you and his family for all they have and will need to endure in the coming days and weeks ahead. Wow I’m sorry for your loss even though it was so long ago. He was your brother! So sad. But we will be with our loved ones in the days to come when we pass over. Thank you for your encouraging words.
