My good friend is saying goodbye to this world today. He had a bicycle accident which left him brain dead. They’re harvesting his organs right now, 8 PM mountain time, and his family is saying goodbye to him. He was only 38 Yrs old! I really have nobody to share this with.

Just awful. Sorry to hear and all are in my prayers. It’s especially tough to feel you have nobody to share with. Well, you have a big group here. And the Big Guy upstairs. Hope it helps.
Thanks I know my family is here, and it helps me to find comfort in knowing I can share it with all of you. We didn’t have many mutual friends, and it was an odd friendship. But he was my friend and I did love him, and it’s sad that his family has to say goodbye.
In February of last year. I learned of a friend that had passed the previous fall. It was a similar situation in that no one in my circle knew him except a couple that had met him once or twice for a few minutes. His only family was a brother in Nova Scotia. I did not realize how hard it is to mourn alone, so my heart goes out to you. I am not on FB much these days, but I wrote my own eulogy to him and it helped. Post it here - I am sure your fellow pedes would love to learn more about this soul that has passed.
Take care of yourself.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. What I did was I sent him one last final text message. I know who’s phone is still working, and I’m sure his family will see the message you know how loved he was. It’s very personal though and I don’t want to post it here. However that is a great idea, and I felt the one last text message to him would be meaningful to me and him, because I know he will get the message in due time.
I still have every text my sister and I sent. Still haven't deleted her contact from my phone and it's been seven years this coming December. It is a comfort having that connection even though I know she is in Heaven. May your friend rest peacefully in the Lord's loving arms. May you and his family find the comfort you need in the Agape of Yeshua.
