I heard that governors cannot deport illegals, only Fed govt can. I dont know if thats true or not. But when Fed govt dumps illegals in a state they are actually abandoning them. So the governors can transport them elsewhere in the States. And where's the best place? Sanctuary cities. I also saw a few years back a mayor jumping for joy that he got sanctuary status for his city and Fed pays him thousands per year for it.
