"While the day of the Lord certainly has a chronological reality to it, the day of the Lord is first and foremost a state of being, a state of illumination, understanding, knowledge, consciousness, and experience. The day of the Lord is the garden of Eden, it’s the sabbath of God, it’s the cessation of the flesh, and the strivings, desires, and anxieties of the carnal mind. It’s the ceasing of trying by soulish strength to think up and work up the nature, will, ways, and purposes of God, and it’s entering instead into the power of His life, light, and glory. It’s the discovering and unveiling of the Christ within! That’s what John discovered in Revelation 20:1-6. He discovered the Most Holy Place. There is a people on the earth today that is beginning to experience the reality and fulfillment of all that the prophets prophesied of through the ages. The third day, the third feast of Israel, and the third realm in God are all pre-figured by the Most Holy Place in the tabernacle of Moses with its dimensions of ten cubits wide, ten cubits long, and ten cubits high — one thousand cubits square! Those dimensions correspond precisely with the “thousand years” of John’s vision, for one thousand is a figure composed of 10 X 10 X 10. Beyond the veil, in the Most Holy Place, the one thousand cubits point to the one thousand years of the reign of God’s elect upon the thrones of judgment. Both measurements are symbolisms representing the reign of Christ and all the holy sons of God in the power of the kingdom of God and the brightness of the day of the Lord!"

Interesting. I have this guy book marked probably from one of your previous post. I read some. Not impressed. Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord. To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is darkness and not light.
I'm no expert on the day of the lord, but the spiritual interpretation of Revelation is very refreshing. The literal interpretation that most Christians believe, never did work for me. Thank you for your response in my thread, I enjoyed your in put :)
My interpretation of revelation is not most Christian. But I respect and appreciate your post. It gives me a place to insert my 2 cents. Most Christians have no idea of the symbolism of revelation and how it is interpreted with the old. A spiritual interpretation only is not well grounded.
Did you notice how many essays are in the Revelation series on that sight? Eby spent decades in that type of ministry and study. I spent decades ignoring Revelation because I never had a good teacher, we all have our shortcomings, the Old Testament is one of mine. Check the first essay, see where he's comming from, I guarantee he he knows his Bible on the topic. The thing is, it is not for everybody, because most people can't get past their indoctrination to the Christian faith. My boss and me both are passionate about faith, but doctrinaly we are miles apart, I concider him a friend. Basically the lord is moving you in a direction, I can't interfere in that, but I do enjoy discussing it.
:)
Interesting again I say. My interest was sparked again and I went back and started reading from the beginning. I just came back to tell you that. I may have jumped to an early conclusion. It is well written. I'll have to see where it goes but I'm sure I'll learn something. Thanks for sharing.
