Theres a video online of a leaking gas pipeline in India or something and a bunch of people are collecting it with gas cans. Theres an ignition and hundreds of people are seen running away burning to death. Electric has no monopoly on death. Nothing is idiot proof.
Why is it that just about ANYTHING that happens in India causes people to die in great numbers? Floods, tsunamis, earthquakes. ..you name, it kills more people in India than it would anywhere else.

Lightning and thunder? 500 die.
Stampede as a music festival ends? 1,000 die.
Someone insullts Mohammed? 3,000 die.
What's up with that?
A lot of people in India, packed closely together in the cities. Anyway, that's my guess.
There's a reason they won't allow you to send devices with modern batteries through the mail...
These batteries get more dangerous as they get older. Many small cells. Labor involved to check for bad cells that develop over time means $$$.
