Yeah R vs. D. does appear to be the gospel over there.

Thankfully I lucked into that being one of the first things I jettisoned when I finally woke up after the '16 election.

Without the higher overview, it's got to be agony for them.

From time to time I see people over there dogpiling somebody for something or other, and it's frustrating to not be able to point out that "they want us divided."

I think that their active rejection of the Q information leads to Patriots.win becoming unnaturally negative, "unnaturally" because even people like us who are in both communities wind up not participating as much as we otherwise might because we know we'll just get shot down when they're busy dooming.

As much as that community is faith based, it's like they can't activate that same circuitry for any man-made plans.

When it was first released I downloaded it from Dinesh's page https://dinesh.locals.com/?showPosts=1 using the Video DownloadHelper browser plugin, just as a convenience to watch later.

I didn't even realize until later that the plugin had done its job too well, somehow finding the real movie file for me, while the thumbnail in the corner had been only a trailer. I thought they'd just just released the whole thing for free.

The plugin no longer locates it, so apparently they fixed that.

TL;DR: Dunno anymore.

Was visualizing a Syd & Marty Krofft bluescreen moment for a moment there, crown floating in mid-air in parliament.

I'm in Japan and was able to play it with no problem. VideoDownload Helper plugin was able to grab the file for me too.

That is kind of a nasty thing to do. Only people who talk a lot are to be listened to?

Excellent reason to look into it!

If that's your motivation, I'd also suggest learning about the First Council of Nicaea in AD 325, where some powerful men got together to unify Christian doctrine. Meaning they were appointed to decide which parts of the then-current diversity of Christian peoples' beliefs were to be retained and which were suddenly judged to not be Christian anymore.

As you might be able to tell, I don't trust those guys mucking around in it, at what to us is the dawn of the Church. Everything cascaded from there

In what language? Never trust a translation.

Being fluent in Japanese, I have zero trust anymore in how anything is translated.

Even with the best of intentions of making an accurate translation, different languages will necessarily inject big distortions into the mix. Often depending on the personality of the translators.

Nuances critical to a clear understanding are either dropped without fanfare to prioritize a smooth translation, or stubbornly included in a clumsy way that makes the final result feel clunky but is technically, sorta, kinda correct (in an "Akshually..." kind of way).

Add in the fact of it being a holy book, translators' quirks now become fiercely-defended gospel, and the in-fighting starts from there.

Don't even get me started about name distortions.

Gab is good for all sorts of discussions.

They only had it in the first place because the deal was for Disney to build "communities of the future" with neighborhoods of actual families and stuff.

As soon as Walt died, Disney decided that making the Epcot exhibit would do fine instead of all that community stuff, but thanks for the special legal protections, suckers!

There are ways to find temporary phone numbers to get messages at...not that I did that of course.

I'm not up enough on celebrities to comprehend the plain old Blind Items, so I just cherry-pick the Blind Items Revealed entries from the sidebar, the ones where they straight-up tell you who they were talking about.
