How do you explain the high level of black violence in other parts of the world? Are those same social circumstances causing the issue all over the world?
Violence increases as skin tone of population increases. The most violent countries/states/cities as black. The least violent places are white.
Your argument takes the side of "nurture" instead of "nature". Most cognitive and behavioral functions are highly heritable. In my opinion, proclivity for violence is much more a result of genetics than it is influenced by environment.
Those are thoughtful comments. The lack of Neanderthal genes in the African races could definitely play a part. On the other hand you have individuals like Dr. Ben Carson, who has talent I could never approach. He's as civilized as it gets. I don't know his life story but I'm willing to bet he had a dad. And decent nutrition as he grew up.

I don't think Carson had a dad. He seems to have some non-black ancestors, though. The average black American is 25% white.
