I actually had a friend invite me to come to California for a visit. I responded that I avoid California like it was a Communist shit hole. I don't think we are friends any more.

I know of several families who have moved or are in the process of moving out of CA. Fortunately, they're all conservatives so they won't erode the voting demographic of their new red state home.
