The people who are downvoting you and don't understand that making no effort, demanding that we fix the machines first and otherwise do nothing are exactly same people who did nothing for years. And that is how we got into this mess to begin with. They also completely ignore the wins we've had when we did get involved, get out and vote and volunteer. As far as I'm concerned there are two possibilities - either they're purposely ignorant because that's convenient or they're paid trolls.

These are the people who always bragged, "I never vote. It's a waste of time because they're all crooks." (New version - see "It's all a uniparty!" They are a gift to the cheaters. They can see the machines but they can't see their own culpability because that would mean getting off their butts and making an effort. And downvoting those who tell the unpleasant truth accomplishes nothing.
