This would make the blackout occur during two significant Biblical holy days… Both of which are mostly centered around humanity needing God.

I’m not big on datefagging big events. But… Making a world changing events and concurring a great evil during/around those days would be thematically appropriate. And it certainly would have the biblical flare Q said to expect.
