Muslims were really avid slavers. They captured Millions of white Slavs and sold them into slavery. Millions. Then there were the Janissaries, who were captured and enslaved white boys taken from their families and sent to elite training at the Pasha's palaces. And, almost all the black slaves in Africa were captured by Muslim slavers. Muslims were behind it all.
