Eloquently written, and SPOT ON with the allegory for Wuthering Heights. I was required to read this in Jr. High School, and I flat out told my teacher that I would take the "F", I rebelled and refused to read more than half the book- each page was torture. "Give me anything else - pick a book at random, I don't care. I could not understand how anyone could find that tripe not only tolerable, but actually enjoyable. Now that I am 60+, I understand.

The author expressed himself, far better than I could have managed.
