The documents get revealed at trial and whatever content exposed openly, to a degree. Rather than showing the master in private, then he makes a decision in favor of Trump, Trump is able to have the docs essentially come out as evidence. Then a ruling is made, but now it’s not behind special master closed doors

One step further than what Sally said, by getting the documents revealed in court, the media can't say that President Trump fabricated the documents or lied about the evidence. 💣
