The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. — Nahum 1:7
There are many times in life that I have found myself in the middle of various meetings. In fact, a few weeks ago I sat in a meeting where hundreds of people were present in the auditorium. I have no doubt that there were many in that room who had no idea who I was or that I was even there.
The people leading the meeting were there dealing with the subject of the meeting. There were things going on all around me and I was sitting there in the middle of it all. As I read the story here in Nahum, I sort of have that same feeling. Nahum is in the middle of sharing judgment on the city of Ninevah.
In the middle of that judgment declaration, however, is this verse. Nahum shares that God knows those who trust in Him. As I read the verses here, the thought struck me that in the middle of dealing with things of this world as God, He took a moment to make sure we knew that He knows who we are.
Think about all the things that God has to deal with each day. He controls the sun, moon, stars, and all the other things in space. He cares for the birds, trees, and all the things that we see with our eyes. He knows everything that is happening in our world and is orchestrating His plan.
The President of the United States may never know who I am. The leaders of other great nations in this world may never know who I am. There are so many in this world who may never say or know our name. In the middle of everything going on in this world, God has a special message just for you. He knows who you are and that you trust in Him!

God is still on His Throne and watching the collapse of mankind. Making sure His Word is fulfilled to the dotting of the i and the crossing of the t. Man chose a world without God and God has let them have it BUT God has reserved many that have not bowed the knee to Baal and we anxiously await the day when He will return to claim Bride and rescue His creation out of the hands of a satanic world led by greed and power hungry men and women. To that we say Come Lord and happy Feast of Trumpets! Don't they blow the trumpets at the coming of the King? KEK
