Just because big Pharma calls them anti-depressants doesn't make it so. They are as effective as having a beer, except the beer wears off in an hour, and so called anti-depressant chemicals can take a long long time to get completely out of the system...if ever. They can also permanently affect the brain, the nervous system, and especially the autonomic nervous system. I have counseled many people who were put on these poisons by Psychobabblers with no regard for the health of the patient.

Psychiatry knew this a couple of years after SSRI's came onto the market but did nothing about it. Just prescribed even more of them. Pricks.
Yes. The whiplash is dangerous and, in the case of the electrical shocks of certain medications when you stop, painful.
Most problems with someone's mental state -- barring physical brain issues like Alzheimer's -- can be resolved through other means than medication.
Not to mention in some cases you'll balloon in weight and that's inevitably going to put you into a worse state of mind
Do a search on the words "Benzo Beast". Any psychiatric drug with the letters "benzo" in the name of the drug will cause excruciating pain for years after getting off of it. It sets the entire body and triggers global body muscle dystonia in every muscle in the body, which means every muscle in the body gets hard as a rock and the pain is unbelievable. It's nicknamed the suicide disease for a reason.

The drugs I took in my party days are all turning out to be the new cure to depression and anxiety. Hmmm.
