Those interested can look up Mark Passio's channel on youtube. A former Satanist who now considers himself a "true" Christian and preaches natural law. Can't say I agree with everything he says, but he has some good points, particularly in Fake A$$ Christians and New Age BS, and speaks about the occult from an insider's point of view.
Go through his podcast series from episode one. Write down the names of any books he mentions. Read them. Look at the additional materials he sometimes attaches to the podcasts.
You will learn a ton.
If you just start with the above-mentioned speeches (which are good) you won't get a lot of it.
Guess I will have to start from the beginning. May take years to get through it all... I've listened to a good dozen of his presentations so far. I've heard him talk about natural law a lot, but still haven't heard him explain his rationale for putting this as the basis. Not that I disagree. I'd just like to hear his philosophical justification. His explanation of the occult, however, was both fascinating and "enlightening." Mind blown, especially when comparing to dire warnings about the "scary" and Satanic occult from fundy Christian sources.
Well, it's a time investment to be sure, and it's far from concise sometimes, but there's a lot of good stuff in there.
His current goal is to get other people teaching this kind of stuff, not just him, so he might go off on a rant if you ask him to redo things a little more to the point. He'd say that's your job since he's been doing it for a long time already.
I don't disagree completely.
