How do you know if you have covid without taking a test?

Started getting a sore throat yesterday, today got a headache, sore throat, body aches and just starting getting chills.

I haven't gotten a cold in a long time and it's weird because its been warm here.

I'm so old I remember summer colds and how rough they were to get over. Those were the good old days, now everything, including dyruckous phloucus of the dung hole is muh Covid.
