By definition a democracy is a tyranny of the majority, while in practice it is a tyranny of the special interests. The Greeks discovered over two thousand years ago that democracies inevitably are controlled by demagogues who promise to loot the rich. Invariably, though, dictatorships historically follow democracies. Manifestly, those who refuse to learn the lessons of history are condemned to repeat them.

When these DC clowns say 'A threat to OUR Democracy', they're talking about THEIR 'DC Democracy'...NOT the rest of the 50 state's 'Constitutional Republic.'
Cliff High explains this pretty well. Start about the :50 second mark.

Yep. I couldn't say it any better.
"Democracy" = Globalism
The U.S. is a republic:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
and to the republic, for which it stands..."
Now, you know why they want to do away with "The Pledge" in schools.
100% Agreed. Destroying as nation's culture is by erasing its history.
Interesting. Like you, I believe 'words' have power. Words mean more than what is typically understood. They can be used as an incantation, a spell, magic; and sorcery. What do I mean by this? Well, look at the repetitious use of -- 'A threat to our democracy'. It's an incantation and is a type of PsyOP that is used to condition and to get people to accept those words as 'truth'.
