You make me laugh too hard! Really, though, we have never had chickens. These guys came over. There were five of them originally. We have hawks and owls around here. Three disappeared in the first two days. I then started to worry. That’s how we started! That was over three years ago. They don’t like being in the house unless it’s nighttime. We turn off the light and, being birds, they go right to sleep. They start making noise in the early morning b/c they want out to potty. They rule the whole yard! My dogs protect them. The cats like to make them quack. Animals are so cool. My grandkids love them all, too! It’s truly a beautiful, fun life. I’m very thankful😇
