It was a training exercise!!

How were WE supposed to know that some of the world's largest oil pipelines would be at those exact coordinates and depth?

Next time... maybe have a floating marker above your pipeline saying "No torpedo training exercises here! Underwater Pipeline Corridor." or something like that.

If you didn't have it marked, and there was no sign... then it was just an accident waiting to happen. :>)
