The Zoo (campgrounds) at the Brainerd NHRA race is off the charts for a good time. So much fun that the drivers are no longer allowed to go out there and "mingle" with the fans. More than once a driver has had to pull out of Sunday finals due to injuries caused at the wild, drunken, partying, love fest that goes on out there.
I’ve never been there & never had the desire. Prefer a quieter, more low key event.
If you like quiet, stay as far away from NHRA as possible for sure.
