Greetings Anons!
As we begin to enter the season of Red October, and approach the monumentally important Mid-term elections in November, I thought it would be a great idea for us to have a Poll thread to refresh our community on some of the most important and influential Q posts of all time.
This thread serves two purposes. One being the aforementioned purpose, and two: many in our community have forgotten, or have not made great use of the Q posting feature. This thread will help encourage our community to begin using the Q post code for easier reference of Q Posts in Q related threads.
To post a Q post, use the following format:
u /#q1
Remove the space between u and / , and then replace the number 1 with any Q post from 1 - 4958
For example,
Q post 1 would be formatted thusly:
u /#q1
For the purposes of this poll thread, I will be leaving the comments open. Please only upvote or downvote comments that begin with Q posts. You may post general comments, but please keep them in a comment thread containing a Q post at the beginning. For example, if Q Post 1 is posted in a comment, you can reply to that comment with your own thoughts.
Please refrain from posting comments in the main stream of Q posts, unless they are accompanied by a Q post. I will remove all such posts to maintain the Q post rankings.
If commenting with a Q post, please post the Q post FIRST.
Note about forum limitations: communities.win only supports a comment stream of 50 posts at a time. This means that there is a bell curve of the top 50, new 50, old 50, and worst 50. There is a dataset in the middle of all of this that has the potential to become "lost". This isn't the perfect format for a Q ranking thread, but we work with what we have.
Q explaining how the world really works: (note he says focus on the above three, not that there are only three)
