..when you have to upgrade your iphone but you couldn't care less. the flashy gadgets don't sway me like they used to, the excitement isn't there and i can't shake the feeling that i'm helping tim apple's corrupt empire.

8? I have a 6! But updating is getting iffy so I'm shopping for the 14 in the hopes of NEVER ever needing another phone. If I ever do, maybe a landline.

Luddite? I've been around computers a lot of years. Have written a couple of computer programs. Using computers before windows and mac OSs. Texting people before there was such a thing available to the general public. No interested anymore. Just use that which makes my life easier and I don't find a lot of technologies fall into that category.
I agree. I spent most of my career on the phone and computer and now that I’m retired a land line and IPad suffice.
